 Musical JR is the shop of our artisan workshop, open in 1998, although our family has been working in the construction of home-made Galician traditional instruments for more than fifteen years.
Now we are offering you the possibility to buy our instruments –perfectly well constructed and with a high-quality tuning– from anywhere in the world.
We are devoted to the making, elaboration and selling of wind and percussion musical instruments. The process of construction is completely carried out in a natural and manual way, respecting the raw materials as well as the other materials. The bagpipes elaborated with natural materials constitute distinguished pieces. The wood that we use is always top quality, such as boxwood, rosewood, lignum vitae, ebony or grenadillo wood, among others. Likewise, the elaboration and making of our products is totally manual.
 On the other hand, we make tambourines, Galician large tambourines, chest tambourines, and even Irish bothrans, constructed according to the standard measures. We also serve the specific orders made by some of our customers.
The process of production begins with the raw materials. We work with natural products which are treated in a natural way, with our own-made machines, looking after their natural condition and keeping the state of purity that make them be products which distinguish our brand and which constitute a mark of authenticity and a typical product of our land. We buy the trees, we cut them to pieces and we place them on the lathe shaping them appropriately according to the stipulated measures. Next, we proceed to the ringing and artisan treatment of the instrument, following the special features of each piece and customer.

 The quality that we are able to achieve with the making of our instruments has made possible their presence all over the world, from European countries to North and South America.
